Handpan made from medium carbon steel, coated with lacquer to protect from corrosion. Made by musician and instrument maker Christopher of the Wolves, who started playing his first Hang professionally in 2004.
This one is the second steel pan in my OMMAH series, which is an acronym for Operation Much More Affordable Handpan. OMMAH pans are tuned well and fun to play gently with hands or the soft rubber-tipped mallets that are included.The scale is: (D3), B, C4, D, E, F, A, B. Weighs 9.5 lbs., 23" diameter, 8" tall. Comes with a kickass soft-padded backpack case custom made by Namana Bags of Ukraine.
