Beautiful Vintage Sunburst finish white pickguard and black hardware. The bass has a nice action and the 9 ply through body neck with a rosewood fretboard feels great. The frets are in very good condition.The TB Plus pickups have a powerful tone with strong output. If you don't know why this bass is a classic, check it out - these basses have a very solid feel that translates into solid tone --- looks, plays and sounds great.Includes the original Gibson hard shell case. Made in the USA Serial Number: 107230362 Weight: 8 lbs. 10 oz. The Gibson Thunderbird IV Electric Bass Guitar debuted in 1963 with the original Firebird guitar series. The most highly respected of all Gibson basses, it was reissued in 1987 with original reverse body styling and TB Plus ceramic magnet humbuckers. Its thunderous bass output is enhanced by a 9-ply mah-and-walnut neck that extends through the body. Mahogany wings, a rosewood fretboard, and black chrome hardware, black top-hat knobs and Grover tuners provide stunning dark looks. 34" scale.
