Up for sale is an original Ibanez TS-808 Tube Screamer vintage guitar pedal in well-used condition. Everything on this pedal works perfectly without any issues - no scratchy pots, faulty footswitch or any sound issues. This particular unit contains the highly desirable JRC4558D chip, which IMO sounds most warm and buttery out of the four different chips that were installed in these units. Most likely from the year 1980 since one of the caps read, "H8024". This pedal also has some work done to it. The cracked casing has some glue over it, the battery clip has been replaced and two of the caps have been replaced. Also, the nut for the AC connection is missing. Nevertheless, none of these repairs affect the operation of the pedal or the sound. Get one of the most famous overdrive pedals in music history with this fantastic sounding gem.
