VOX Mark XII 12-String Teardrop Electric GuitarThis is a VOX Mark XII 12-String Teardrop Electric Guitar. Stamped #233271 on neck plate. Manufactured in the mid 1960's by the EKO company of Italy. The Vox V223 Mark XII guitar also included a vibrato arm, which was a very unusual feature on a twelve string guitar at the time. Plays and sounds very good. Very good sustain with classic 12 string tones and vintage Vox character. More pictures listed below.Features: Continental Teardrop Body, Eko Neck (with the double T bar reinforcing channel in addition to an adjustable truss rod), Three Single Coil Pickups ( with individual pole pieces), Vibrato (original Bigsby style bar not included), Padded Cushion (on back), Ebony Finger Board, 22 Nickel-Silver Frets, Volume/Tone/Tone Knobs and 5 Way Switching.
