This sale is due to the slimming down of my instrument and book collection and it is only being made available as a result of me being lucky enough to have discovered and purchased two of these marvellous books by diligent Worldwide searching during my 25 years of collecting "Is it the only thing missing from your beautiful Banjo collection?" "Don't just buy another banjo .....buy this treasure at half the price of a single decent banjo and you will be able to view them all" This 904 page limited edition and first edition book of photographs and information is an appreciating investment reference volume and a substantial work of art detailing banjos collected in Japan by Mr Akira Tsumura over the years It includes ukulele and Mandolin Banjos. It is of ultimate quality and collectibility. It is a massive volume on top quality paper weighing a staggering 16lbs(7kg) It is one of the only printing of the famous work of art published in 1993. It is contained in its in its original brown opening box and white slip cover. Words cannot do justice to this book so I will not try. As a collector myself I know that these rare books have been aquired by private collectors and have known to exchange hands in excess of £2000.  They are a very very highly prized and collectible photographic book. It is known that these books will never be reprinted as they were made at the vast expense of Mr Tsumura to his exacting standards. It is said that a reprint would not be viable on cost grounds due to the quality of their content and hand made construction The Tsumura Banjo collection has sadly now since been sold off in parts and no longer exists in its entirety. You sometimes see instruments for sale which are portrayed in this book. Buyers outside the U.K. Will have a bargain as the £ is at an all time low against non sterling currencies. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a copy of this banjo extravaganza as they rarely come up for sale on the open market.
