What's not original: body has been refinished, guitar arrived in to us as a Fiesta Red refin, probably done in the 70s, with a thick poly based finish so paint has been stripped off and refinished in a nitro blonde by Eternal Guitars, now looks killer! Both pickups are original but have been rewound by Hot Rod Pickups to original spec. Switch tip is a repro as is the ashtray and case. One of the pots may be a replacement, dates to '67 so possibly a similar aged pot sourced as a replacement at some point. The spaghetti logo on the headstock has had us puzzled as strictly these finished in '65 and the transitional logo took over. However the neck stamp is 3FEB66 B so it could be the last of the older logos or possibly a replacement, we just don't know for sure.Guitars history: Previous owner traded the guitar into us having purchased it around '76. He in turn bought it from a member of the 70s & 80s British band 'After The Fire'.A really great sounding, stunning looking early '66 tele with real mojo.Any questions or additional photos required feel free to ask.
