This item is a vintage Yamaha YCL-220 Base Clarinet in Bb.The serial number on the body reads "0148" as pictured.That means this is the 148th Bass Clarinet of it's model made. This makes this a very early model when Yamaha quality was paramount.Included is the original hard black case with three latches and Yamaha Mouthpiece with Ligature marked with "France".No dents on the bell and Clarinet has been play tested and run through by a very highly regarded woodwind repair specialist.The only repairs that were needed was a new bell cork and one spring.All the pads look great and there are no apparent leaks.These Bass Clarinets are quite expensive new and this one has an outstanding tone to it.We are not experts in musical instruments.
