Up for sale, a 1976 "Dallas Music Industries" Fuzz Face with the exceedingly rare deep enclosure only used for the very limited 1976-early '77 run. Produced in the USA after Dallas Arbiter's move from the UK, this pedal was produced in a batch of less than 100 total pedals and is arguably the rarest Fuzz Face variant in existence. This pedal is from the very last run of the original vintage Fuzz Face design under Dallas Arbiter before the company was sold to Crest Audio in the 1980s! Completely unique and sporting a different enclosure with nearly twice the depth of every Fuzz Face before or since, this pedal runs on a pair of original silicon BC109 transistors that sound ideal for the classic Fuzz Face sound.
This pedal features the original blue hammerite paint, with stock knobs, switch, jacks, and a pair of matching CTS pots with 1976 date codes. The circuit is Original.  Cosmetically, the pedal retains the "In/Out" waterslide decal and most of the "Fuzz Face" writing as well. As to be expected, there are various nicks and scuffs in the original paint, but the point is that this pedal has actually survived out of an extremely limited batch! Depending on the source, it has been reported that anywhere from 50-100 of these pedals were originally produced, and far fewer have survived. This pedal sounds positively huge and dynamic, with a roaring fuzz tone that sizzles with the best. Dime out the knobs and use your guitar's volume to control the nuances of this incredible fuzz machine! All works as it shouldSold as/is - No returnsOne rubber foot missingNo issues at all - sounds great
