What I have here is a 1977 D-18 Martin. I will not beat around the bush with the description. It is a player, and it has been played hard, and will need a neck reset if you like low action. For a bluegrass guitar the action is about right. It has a repaired neck crack (see photo) that has been stable for several years now. Also, there was a seam separation on the back at one time that has been professionally repaired and is stable. Those are the negative things. Otherwise, it is a bluegrass cannon with the tone that only a Martin D-18 has. The only reason that I'm selling is because of the style of music that I play now requires a different type of guitar. It also comes with a blue OHSC that is in pretty decent condition. It is a 5 latch case, but is missing the fifth latch. It has lot of character, and a very worthwhile guitar.
