****** Scroll down for 55 High Definition images and pictures inside ****** Here's a 2013 Gibson SG Frank Zappa Roxy Signature model. It is in excellent condition and only has light playwear. The top is clean - no significant playwear and the hardwear is shiny. The back has a few small indents - but it's pretty clean. The frets are in excellent condition and it has a slim 60's neck. The Frank Zappa Roxy SG is based on the guitars used during the famous 1973 concerts at Roxy Theatre. Only 400 of these guitars will be made worldwide so its a very limited edition. The Frank Zappa Roxy model is made from Mahogany and its used on both the body and the neck, interestingly though the neck hasn't been painted and uses just a thin satin finish on top of the bare Mahogany wood.Sound comes from dual '57 Classic humbuckers which have the usual two tone and two volume controls, however on the original instrument Zappa added two mini-toggle switches which were mounted onto the scratch plate and the guitar was given a wiring modification to allow phase and coil-tap switching - this has been perfectly replicated on the Gibson Frank Zapp Roxy SG. Another interesting feature is the chrome covered Lyre tailpiece which has a flat bar handle for vibrato effects and the chrome theme continues on the tune-o-matic bridge and the Scaller style machine heads. Unusually the Gibson Frank Zappa Roxy SG has a Maple headstock overlay and the body has been given a gloss Heritage Cherry finish to match the original instrument. Body: Mahogany Neck: Mahogany, matched to his original guitar, with holly head veneer, only satin finish no color Fingerboard: Bound Rosewood, Dot InlaysHardware: Chrome Tune-o-Matic, Schaller Style Tuners, Lyre tailpiece with flat bar handle Electronics: 57 classic pickups with 2 mini toggles with phase switch and coil split Plastics: Black, small pick guard Special Notes: Taken from the SG he played at the Roxy concerts from 1973 .
