Hofner galaxie 176 solid 1960's electric guitar

- brand new roto sound strings A very beautiful and rare guitar. Lovely white 'crocodile skin' style vinyl. Sounds great, the tone selector works well giving a range of powerful bass tones to rich treble tones. The electronics work fine. Has been given a set up with new rota sound 10-46 strings, low action, and intunated correctly. Tuners hold tune very well. Whammy bar works well. Has a great viontage tone and looks the part. Lovely vintage tweed stytle case. Locks work well, case is tatty though but gives the vintage rock look. Things to note, peeling on edge as can be seen in photo, but this could be fixed with glue, also slight peeling, does have some bumps marks and scratches as expected with 50+ year old guitars, but nothing damaging or major. Missing the Hofner logo on headstock too. Also bit raised on one of the pearl inlays as can be seen in photo. All in all, great condition for age and can be used for gigging/recording as is.
