This is a pre-owned Hofner 120th Anniversary John Lennon Club 40, a guitar remodeled after the 1959 Club 40 that John Lennon used in the early days. The Club 40 is a short-scale guitar with a spruce top and maple back/sides, a rosewood fretboard, and a long single-coil in the neck position for clean, warm sounds great for rhythm playing. This guitar is #16 of 120 made, and is in very good condition with some light lacquer checking around the bass side of the neck pocket and around the electronics.
