This horn is in very nice condition. This is a Conn 8D Double French Horn. I believe that this horn was made in about 2005 (serial number 5 755141) The Conn 8D is Conn's symphony double horn; it is constructed entirely from solid nickel silver, and has a large bell throat for a full, powerful sound. This instrument plays very well, the valves have like-new compression, and the slides all move of course. As for the aesthetic condition of this horn, there are a few small dings as well as some very light pitting and scratching in the lacquerin a few spots. These minor imperfections are probably not visible in the pictures if even if you zoom in far enough and look closely, but I thought that I should mention them. This instrument has been professionally cleaned in our shop, and is in excellent condition. This instrument comes with a slightly worn Conn hardshell case and a mouthpiece in good condition.All horns are located at Silver & Brass Music Shop710 N. Curry St. Carson City, NV89703(775) 301-6289
