MARTIN & Co., NAZARETH, PA."branded on top back of headstock.Ivory nut & saddle.Serial No. 25905 (Martin records indicate this serial number was applied in 1926.)Body is in Good condition except for some condition issues, the bridge appears to be raised up a little in back and not sure if it is original, someone wrote SN. inside with pen, see all pictures: All Original except black pick-guard (added to halt surface damage)
Some pick/finger wear at sound hole, finish chip off in places, with no other appreciable damage beyond expected wear, commensurate with this instrument's almost 90 years of musical life. This is braced for steel strings, 1926 was the first year Martin shipped this model with steel strings, adding to the uniqueness of this particular instrument. The included original case is in poor unrepairable condition but serves as protection for shipping.
