The guitar functions through an external amp, but the on board amp was checked and is not currently functional. I haven't opened it up to look at the wiring, but in order to get the built in amp to work, some wiring work will most likely need to be done. This guitar is missing the 9 volt battery cover and the trem arm/spring. It will need a bit of a set up, but once it is ready, I think you will be impressed with the quality of the pickups. They are very responsive and loud. SHIPPING NOTE: All items shipped via UPS Ground. I can not ship to PO Boxes. Insurance for full purchase price included.
