Unfortunately if it doesn't sell, it stays in the case.*Brand new RICK TURNER MODEL 1 custom made electric guitar - never played. I bought this back in February from Heartbreaker Guitars and, sadly, it's just been sitting in the case. My mother was ill around the same time and our finances took a dive after I quit work to care for her, so that's the only reason I'm selling this stunning work of art.These guitars are most notably played by Lindsey Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac and John Mayer. The only difference between this guitar and Buckingham's is that this one does not include the parametric EQ. You'll note Buckingham's guitars have four control knobs (as opposed to the two on this guitar) however Lindsey doesn't even use those extra features. So, if you're after that Buckingham tone, this guitar will still be right up your alley.The guitar looks more warm brown in natural light, with a very faint reddish tinge indoors. It has beautiful binding on the all mahogany body and a much faster/slimmer neck than I expected, while still maintaining a nice D-shape. The rosewood fingerboard inlays are paua shell from New Zealand, and the head stock has just been fitted with Gotoh 510 machine heads, which really complement the Renaissance aesthetic of the guitar. The original Planet Waves brand tuners are included in this auction should you wish to re-install them. I've also acquired an extra tone + volume control knob which I'll throw in should you ever need them. And I'll throw in a black leather Levy's adjustable guitar strap (same one Lindsey uses) to the winner.
Original retail price on this beauty was well over 4 thousand US dollars. The TKL custom fitted hard shell case is of course included and I will ship anywhere in the world. Also, apologies for what seems like high shipping, what I'm asking is actually less than what it will cost me to ship outside of New Zealand. In any event, you're getting a absolute steal if you get this guitar for under 4k.
