This is a vintage P bass neck, I believe it to be a 71 via my research on the neck code, but buyer must do their own due diligence. The tuners are original. The nut has been changed to a proper sized replacement brass nut. The frets have average wear. The neck was mounted to a 1968 LH body with a bad refin and played nicely when I got it. I have discussed it with a few experts and the common theory is that it was originally a 68 that was probably re-necked at the factory in 71 or early 72. (The pots in the body were from 66...) the pickups and bridge were of no help, as they had been changed to Dimarzio and Leo Quan; common mods in the 70s and 80s. I decided that even though it was a good playable instrument as it was, it would be better suited to becoming a donor guitar for a restorable vintage piece or two. The refinished body, original pickguard, and 1968 neckplate will be for sale in separate auctions in a day or two. The Dimarzio and the Leo Quan will be on my desk as paperweights... Please examine pics carefully and ask questions as needed before you bid, there are no returns on this item.
