This item is a 220 volt or 240 volt AC only. Will not work with North American 120 volt. You must use a step up transformer if you plan on using this in North America. I tested this item with a step up transformer and it works. Maybe a bit noisy but I think that can be tamed with new capacitors. Or maybe that's how it's suppose to sound. Either way the capacitors are original and should be replaced for better filtering and fidelity. The case is a little beat up and could use some wood glue here and there. Also missing a couple screws. The grates on the case are cracked and the back one is missing. Please look at all the pictures. I'm selling this item AS-IS, in working condition.
