Ok Here's the scoop. BIG OPPORTUNITY TO OWN AND PLAY A VINTAGE 1960 GIBSON 355 AT 1/3 OF THE USUAL COST FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS. STUNNING GREAT PLAYER INSTRUMENT. This is a 1960 Gibson 355 TDC with that gorgeous "watermelon" red finish that only old gals like this have. Here's what it's gone through over the decades: Re-necked by Gibson in 1969 to a big, fat '59 neck, stereo converted to mono and varitone removed ( most desired by players), It has sealed, never opened patent number pickups, wiring harness is brand new. The tuners are original, pickguard is late 60's, Bigsby is '59/'60, bridge late 60's. So the deal is anything replaced ( except for some knobs) is period correct and works beautifully. So, this is a great player's guitar, has all the vintage vibe, the right color, the right bones and pedigree (1960 355TDC) BUT you won't pay over $20,000.00 to get in on all the fun.
