1960 vintage Maestro GA 45 made by Gibson harp-guitar-accordian amplifier  SN# 56922Absolutely original example of this rare amp. Everything is original and untouched since the Gibson factory produced this "Maestro" amp in Kalamazoo MI. fifty six years ago in 1960. The amp does show a few small cosmetic signs of being around for 56 years, but looks clean and straight.   With the original 4X 8inch Jensen Gold Frame speakers in the cabinet, this amp was originally designed around an accordion. However, it turns out in todays low volume low wattage amp environment, it sounds fantastic for guitar and has a really great natural break up. For harp,  it is outstanding especially with modern PA systems that can help when needed. The tremolo circuit on this amp is incredible, it gets really deep with lots of fine adjustment available. In fact, this amp has one of the best tremolos I have ever heard. This amplifier sits today with all the same components it left the factory with. Every part is original and unmolested. It even boasts the original 6v6 power tubes and rectifier tube made by RCA and branded as Gibson.  All components including transformers, caps, power cable, grill cloth, tolex etc. are original. The original Jensen gold frame 8" speakers are in place, have never been removed, and still have the original cones. They sound great. Date codes on the speakers are 220015 x2 and 220014x2.  The control panel is very good with only a few artifacts on the surface.  I purchased this amplifier from a local gentlemen in the Bay Area many years ago. It has been in a climate controlled area ever since. Footswitch is original and works perfectly. I pack and ship vintage amps with extreme care. I am unable to accept returns on vintage amplifiers. Check my feedback. You will not be unhappy with this amp. E-Bay shipping charges may not be accurate to your location. I charge only actual shipping charges with no handling or packaging fees.
