The Legacy Dragonfly mandolin is a high-end mandolin with all the most important features and building techniques that define a stage-ready F-style mandolin.  It starts with a solid Spruce top, which was deeply carved. The back and sides are extraordinary flame Maple, again all solid woods. Of course an all solid and carved mandolin is what you want to get the best tone, but this Legacy Dragnfly is also topped off with other upgrades like a die-cast tailpiece and tightly fitted dovetail neck joint. To enhance playability, both the fretboard and bridge are radiused. The centerpiece of the Dragonfly is the unique vine inlay design carefully inlaid into the fretboard. The inlay, made from real Pearl and Abalone, gives this mandolin a truly custom look. Because ease of tuning and tuning stability is a priority, Michael Kelly upgraded the tuners to Grover tuners. For improved tone, this Legacy Dragonfly is equipped with a one-piece tailpiece that adds ring and resonance. When the need for amplification arises the Dragonfly Electric is equiped with Fishman electronics to give a full, natural amplified sound. This guitar is required to be listed as seller refurbished by the manufacturer. It has been completely checked over by The Music Farm team, and also by the largest manufacturer refurbishing center in America. Buying one of these guitars is almost like buying a brand new guitar, but getting a huge savings on it! Most of these instruments do not have any visible defects.
