For sale: Gibson Les Paul Futura, 120th Anniversary edition with automatic tuners and official Gibson hard case . This is the special anniversary edition of the Les Paul in a nice wine red colour. This guitar is in nearly new condition- I bought it around a year ago but have only played it about ten times. It has never left my flat. Features: This guitar has many great features. Here is a quick review here: http://iheartguitarblog.com/2014/06/review-gibson-les-paul-futura.html Essentially this is one very versatile guitar. It has a humbucker and a P90 pick up, both of which can be coil tapped, so you have an amazing array of single coil and humbucker tones, plus you have the P90 which just sounds like glass. Superb. In addition to the coil taps it has a built in boost of 15db when needed, accessed, like the coil taps, via push/push volume and tone knobs. This guitar also has a tapered neck which means as you go up the fretborad it gets slightly slimmer, meaning easier access to the top frets. Its really comfortable to play. It also has easy glide control knobs to make on the fly adjustments easier. It also comes with Gibson's e-tune system. Basically this guitar will tune itself in about 5 seconds. You think you will never use it, but you will find it quickly becomes second nature. The tuning system also allows you to re-tune to any different tuning at the press of a couple of buttons- Drop D- Flat tuning-Open G/E/A, Slide guitar tuning. There is practically no end of tuning options available. Again, you think you wont use them, but as soon as you fancy playing some Rolling Stones you just hit the button and you are in the correct tuning. Real easy. The finish is wine red and the only marking on it is a feint line on the back where it has been stood in a guitar stand. I have shown this on two photographs so you know what you are getting. Other than that this guitar is in excellent condition, nearly new essentially. It also comes with the hard case, a proper Gibson one which can withstand being dropped from 8 feet without damaging your guitar. Of course it also has the 120th Anniversary 12th fret inlay, which is just a nice thing to have, and it will come with the original documents and serial number information. Everything I got with this guitar will be included. Any questions please just ask. I will ship if necessary but also welcome collection from Stroud, Gloucestershire. Equally, I will accept paypal if you insist, but perhaps we can work in a discount for case/bank transfer so I can avoid paypal fees which are quite substantial when selling something valuable. Happy bidding :-)
