Simply put, the MANTRA tenor saxophone from Theo Wanne is arguably the most advanced modern saxophone on the market today, manufactured using the most advanced state-of-the-art technology in the industry and featuring over 30 innovations and features centered around the best possibly playing experience!The MANTRA's neck is unlike any that have been designed before or since! On top of it's revolutionary new taper and shape, the brace and octave key are actually fully isolated from the neck tube, allowing completely free resonation for unrivaled sound quality. The octave key also rides on cartridge ball bearings, completely isolating it from the tube and brace as well, further adding to the resonance and projection.Theo Wanne's four-point bell-to-body brace is much stronger than any traditional brace, its four fully captured points of contact still allowing previously unheard of vibrational freedom.The guards on the low C and B/Bb keys are in-line with the key arms, and the key cups do not twist as they do on many other saxophones. These improvements prevent the dampening of projection and vibrational freedom of the instrument.The reticulated finish (similar to the surface of a golf ball) inside the MANTRA saxophone creates a boundary layer of air, resulting in a more free-blowing feel with almost no resistance so you can take your playing to the next level!Please note that a mouthpiece is NOT included with these horns, and must be purchased separately.The MANTRA tenor mouthpiece is recommended as it has a tremendous synergystic fit with this horn.
