What makes this guitar special: A great player in bold orange package, this Chet Atkins hollow body offers that great Gretsch sound at an affordable, player’s price. Nicely adorned with gold hardware and a set of Gretsch FilterTron pickups, the hollow body strummer offers a variety of tone combinations, suitable for anything from jazz to rock n roll. It comes with a professional setup from one of our in-house luthiers, so you know it’ll arrive ready to play.Cosmetic condition: Good condition overall, with some players wear and cosmetic issues. There is a notable amount of finish cracking, chipping, and wear on the back of the neck near the headstock and neck joint, none of which appear to penetrate the wood. There is also some surface level finish wear and surface layer chipping on the headstock around the tuners and on top of the headstock. There appear to be hairline fractures extending from the tuners, but the headstock is structurally sound. There are various surface and playwear scratches throughout the instrument as well.Body: Double bound maple hollow body with dual bound jumbo f-holes in orange finish. Replacement adjusto-matic bridge with rosewood base and Bigsby tremolo tailpiece. Gold hardware and gold Chet Atkins signature pickguard. Weight: 7lb, 4ozNeck: Maple neck with double bound ebony fingerboard, red side dots and pearloid Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays. Fingerboard is in great shape with no pitting, and frets show almost no visible signs of wear. 24.6” scale length, and 1 11/16” nut width. Headstock features a pearloid Gretsch logo and horseshoe, and open gear Grover tuners in perfect working order. Neck is straight and truss rod works fine.Electronics: Dual Gretsch FilterTron humbuckers (Neck-4.01K ohms, Bridge-4.66K ohms) with 3-way tone switch, 3-way pickup selector switch, and knurled “G Arrow” stamped knobs, 2x volume, 1x tone.Case: Unoriginal hard shell case included.
