Description
You are looking at a mid 60's Sears Silvertone "Amp In Case" guitar model number 1448..The guitar and amp in case are in excellent shape, with some marks here and there on the case, and some paint flecks off on the headstock edges.. The guitar is in excellent shape with none of the typical playing wear you would normally see.. It looks like it went right from the catalog to under the bed in a very short time. The guitar plays with a low action, and sounds just as it should. I polished up the frets and oiled the fretboard and rosewood bridge piece. The frets have no wear at all. I put Ernie Ball Super Slinky's (.09's) on the guitar, but should have went with .10's on it. The amp has the original tubes and fires right up and works as it should. The case has more marks on it than the guitar.. Probably from being dragged out from under that bed once every two years..This sale also includes the beginning guitar paper work that I assume came with it.. The only thing missing is the original guitar cord. I will ship anywhere in the world.. Buyer pays all and the exact shipping and insurance prices.. Send me a message and I will check the shipping prices for you. I will also get the exact shipping price for the winning bidder before I send the final bill.. Please don't pay for the auction until I bill you. Thanks for looking,
Jeff
