Built circa 1925 by J. Gunther & Son. The original workshop was in Kirchheim, Germany, moved to Brussells in Belgium in 1918.This is a "butterfly" grand piano, designed to allow the player to open the lid to the left or to the right.Dimensions:- Length 64".....Width 58"From the home of a well known London piano teacher this instrument has been fully restored.The strings, tuning pins, hammers dampers and all the felt-work has been replaced with new.The sound board has been re-varnished and the frame has been re-gilded. My company based in Leeds, Yorkshire, has been restoring pianos since 1974. We supply reliable, reconditioned pianos at affordable prices and we deliver to all parts of the UK. The strings are complete and tuned producing a rich, warm tone. The keys of the 88 note keyboard are in good condition with no chipped or damaged keys. The pedals both function correctly.The figured rosewood case remains in excellent condition with barely a mark. A matching music stool is not included but can be purchased separately.
