For sale is a Vintage Ampeg Reverberocket R 12 R. I believe it is a 196.  This amp is in fully functioning order and is in great condition for its age. I believe it is all original except some of the tubes may have been replaced. It has a 12 inch Jensen speaker which i believe is original.  This is the model with the 6V6 tubes that is much more sought after. The tone of this amp is delicious! Great for blues, surf, jazz. Killer recording amp. The amplifier was serviced by a professional technician and is running great. The foot switch controls the reverb and tremolo and works perfectly. There are some some minor flaws in the tolex and a little pitting on the control box and the reverb tank (see pictures for details). Other than that the amp is in wonderful shape, the tolex is clean and the speaker cloth is tight. This amp has the original two prong power chord, which you might want to replace with a modern three prong chord. Great vintage amp in wonderful condition. Ready to play.
