Absolutely fabulous 2015 Taylor 914ce in better-than-showroom condition. If you are familiar with Taylor guitars, you know that since Andy Powers took over as head Luthier, their 600 through 900 series electric acoustics have undergone major design improvements, both aesthetically and sonically. New bracing, protein glue, new finish, new Expression System II electronics, and with their top-of-the-line 900 series, a distinctive hand made Ebony armrest. The feeling you get when you strum a guitar like this and you feel the whole body vibrate against yours is truly amazing. The notes and chords jump from the strings on this grand auditorium size guitar with the slightest touch, and the looks speak for themselves... Sitka Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back/sides, mahogany neck, Ebony fretboard, headstock overlay, and backstrap. Hawaiian Koa detailing on the back. I'm advertising this beauty as 99.99% flawless. In the spirit of absolute full disclosure, if you look hard enough and hold the guitar up in the right light, you can find a couple of nearly invisible pick marks on the lower bout below the sound hole. They are purely in the finish and they fall in the "too undetectable to capture with a camera" category. This guitar never hung on the wall of any store. It shipped direct from the Taylor factory to my local dealer where I picked it up the day it arrived. It has remained in my non-smoking home in a 74 degree, 45% humidity environment. The bridge pins have been upgraded to buffalo horn with green abalone dots that match the green abalone purfling around the top. The original black Taylor bridge pins will be included, and of course, it will come in the original Taylor deluxe hard shell case, packaged securely in its original factory box. My reason for selling? I play a Taylor T5z in a worship band and I've gotten so used to and comfortable with the shorter scale of the T5z, I'm selling this 914ce to get the grand concert size 912ce that has the same scale as the T5z.
