And easy-to-play O style mandolin built (in the USA ) with homegrown woods and Breedlove's incredible craftsmanship! This is not the crossover! The crossover has laminate back and sides... this has exquisite flamed maple! The crossover is the affordable model, this instrument has far superior craftsmanship. Beautiful flamed maple back and sides (see photos) with a Sitka spruce top, radiused ebony fingerboard, ebony headstock overlay and a single, gorgeous piece of flamed maple for the neck - The American series OO mandolin is a teardrop shaped Mando with deep range that punches through any mix or jam with clarity and authority. I bought this wonderful instrument in 2011, but regrettably I haven't had time to learn the instrument like I'd hoped. This instrument looks and sounds beautiful. It's practically in mint condition and the locking, custom-fit case is also in excellent, near-mint condition. Feel free to ask any questions about this beautiful instrument before bidding.
