These are one of the best sounding converters ever made and offer a wonderfully warm audio path with pristine clarity, two channels of beautiful mic preamps and a whole lot of options. This one has two add on cards which include:Eight channel Analog output card for eight channels of premium Apogee DA conversionAmbus AES card for easy interfacing with other converter systems via AES/EBU breakout cable. The mic preamps on these things sound amazing and feature the normal compliment of mic preamp features plus automatic Gain riding for live performances or perfect vocals. Headphone outputs as well as a whole lot of other features are also included in addition to the two channels of AD and Eight channels DA.
