Original Hard Shell Case This is the First Year Ibanez Released the RG Series, what would later become the Infamous RG Prestige Series. The Prestige Series are one of Ibanez's Top of the line Guitars. Using the highest quality parts and wood. And More Importantly Some of the Greatest Craftsmanship of all time. The First Year of this production is going on it's 30th Anniversary!!! This guitar is in Amazing Condition with All Original Parts except for the Pickups and the Whammy Bar that is included. It has a One Piece Maple Neck!! Please look at Pics to see the Condition of the Neck which is in Great Shape!! None of the wood is very worn down. The Original Edge Tremolo is in great condition and performs just as well as the Edge on my 2016 RG Prestige, only it does have a very cool vintage comfortable feel to it. Almost like it's been worn in just right where as my new Prestige is still very tight and sensitive. There are only a few area's with a little blemish but you can barely get pics of them because they are hardly noticeable. There are no big blemishes or dings and dents. Please look at Pics for condition. If you want the full specs on the guitar, look it up on the web. I had to better familiarize myself with the Early Ibanez released guitars in order to learn how to read the serial number and find specs and everything else about the guitar. On the back of the headstock is what looks like the adhesive leftover from something that was stuck to the headstock, I looked online and it is from some sort of Pic holder or small clip that came on the headstock originally but is no longer there. These Original RG Models are highly sought after Mainly Because of there Unbelievable Tone and Sustain, the solid basswood body just causes the sound to reverberate on and on. The Playability of these guitars is incredible, it just feels right in your hands and is a very comfortable guitar to play. The Quality Components used in these, are hard to find in New Guitars unless you are willing to shell out some Serious Cash!!! With the all Maple Neck and all the other great features that gave birth to the RG models which are still in production today. It Plays and Sounds AMAZING!!! Watch the YOUTUBE VIDEOS FOR A SAMPLE OF THE SOUND!!! The Biggest Problem with this guitar is the Pickups. Which will be considered in the price. Right now there are Seymour Duncan Blackouts in it, with no single coil in the middle. I definitely think the Original Pups need to be put back in. So new pickups, preferably the original. And a Setup with some new strings and this Baby is Not Only A Great Collectors Guitar, But is also One Amazing SOUNDING and PLAYING Guitar. Message me with any questions.
