JUST ADDED A BRAND NEW K&K PURE PICKUP!!! What a beautiful classic Gibson J-50... I love when a sitka spruce top ages a slight amber color,  just gives it such a vibe in my opinion. This guitar is in very good shape for its age. The J-50 is a staple of Gibson acoustics. It is simply a j-45 with a natural finish. The top and body have the typical finish checking. There are a few cracks on the top that are a sealed and repaired. They can't be seen at arm's length. This has no effect on the guitar's playability. Top is flat, tight tuners, straight neck. The guitar has great action, and intonation with a fast neck. The serial number and “Made in the USA” are pressed into the headstock dating it between 1970-72. I personally believe it is a 1970 model because it has subtle differences from my other J-50 I sold recently (see my feedback and sells and you will see the other J-50) It plays and sounds great; will flat out sing!!!  There’s a fresh set-up using Martin Clapton’s Choice Light phosphor bronze strings. Ready to go straight from its TKL American Vintage Series case. Don't waste your money on a high priced new guitar because this one will eat any new guitar you can find!!! Tons of mojo and vintage vibe...no disappointment here period. Will add any pickup of your choice to this guitar for an additional $50. Solid Sitka spruce top Solid Mahogany back and sides Rosewood fretboard, bridge and adjustable saddle Original Kluson deluxe tuners Pearl position markers TKL American Vintage Series Hardshell case.
