For auction is a near mint D’Angelico EXL-1A in a natural finish. Except for finish checking near the nut (see pics) this guitar is in near mint condition. It plays great and has that archtop tone whether played acoustically or plugged in. The passive piezo is surprisingly loud and needs little e.q. adjustments to get a great sound. I’m the original owner and have only played it out a couple of times (solo and duet gigs). I was pleased with percussive chord jabs as well as strumming and fingerstyle playing. This guitar is selling new for $1400. I’m putting this near mint beauty on auction only because I have too many guitars for my modest sized studio and am letting the market choose which ones I’ll keep.
