Very cool (yet somewhat mysterious) loaded Strat neckThis neck was on a refinished '78 strat body when I got it (also for sale here on Ebay). It appears that this neck has been on the body since then based on the finish fade of each and the wear amount and pattern. Obviously, this isn't a '78 neck as it is more of a 50s style. It looks as if it has possibly been refinished and, if so, any identifying stamps were lost. There were certainly some companies making replacement necks at that time but not as many as today...Schecter, Charvel, Fender...I simply can't say with certainty what it is. It has many consistencies with vintage Fender necks but I can't say that it is one.Full C profile...the neck is very comfortable and feels great. Natural checking on the front of the headstock (but not really present anywhere else). Frets are getting low but do have some life left. Gold Kluson tuners.
