A very rare and cool (and unique) guitar!Made in 1984 by master luthier Ronaldo Orlandoni, this "Geo" was heavily influenced by some of the most popular and sought after guitars of the era. It possesses strong influences of both the original B.C. Rich guitars as well as features that nod to Alembic.Neck thru construction with a maple neck and body, the guitar is fitted with a Kahler vibrato (bar is missing), DiMarzio pickups and Schaller tuners.Each pickup has an on-off switch (the humbuckers switch will spin around but I have not replaced it because it still functions properly and is original). The humbucker has an additional 3-way switch to for 3 modes: full humbucker, single coil and out of phase.You'll never see one of these again.Orlandoni has worked with artists like Anthrax, Blue Oyster Cult, Spyro Gyra, The Allman Brothers, Patti Smith, and Johnny Winters. Over the years, he custom-made between 150-200 guitars for sale, including a 1975 upside down question mark guitar for Blue Oyster Cult they played on stage on their European Tour. Ships in soft case
