This sale is for two mic preamps, and two EQ's from the early 70's. All racked and ready to plug in. They have separate ins and outs on the back. They are built to highest quality with transformers in the mic pre's and transformers and inductors in the EQ's. If you are looking at this ebay listing i assume you know what you are looking at. The tone of thee mic pre's i would say is similar to a Neve 1073. And the EQ's are smooth. I have recorded vocals through these and the tone was thick and creamy (like a Neve). And they add warmth to other signals recorded too. EQ's are not harsh but have a smooth like quality which reminds me of using Siemens Sitral W295 EQ's. For two of these made by Neve it would be over 5 grand (pounds). Sad to see these go and hope they find a good home! Be easier to meet in person rather than sending, but I can send.
