This 2001 SA2200 Yamaha is in immaculate condition.
I have owned three of these and the finish on this one is the most beautiful.
More Honeyburst than Violin Sunburst. The finish and construction on these guitars has got to be seen to be believed. Stunning.
The "G" brand (a personal fave) just can't compete in this area.People often compare these with ES335s. Really they are two different birds sonically. The SA is brighter the ES is darker (with '57 Classics).
With the Yamaha you have the option of the coil taps. This gives eight tonal options instead of just three.
1) Bridge only full.
2) Neck only full.
3) Neck + Bridge full.
4) Bridge only tap.
5) Neck only tap.
6) Neck and bridge tap.
7) Neck tap, bridge full.
8) Neck full, bridge tap.
