Available GREAT VINTAGE HORN FOR / SCHOOL / COLLEGE / ORCHESTRA AND MORE YEARS TO COME FOR A SERIOUS PLAYER AND/OR COLLECTOR! SELMER NO LONGER MAKES TRUMPETS SINCE JAN 2011 This is the most beautiful Selmer Radial Vintage C trumpet ( + Bb tuning slide extension included ) Paris which was made and had arrived from France. This is the famous model developed with the help of the great trumpet artist and legend Maurice Andre with the very unique valve section design which was later discontinued by Selmer because it was too expensive to make. A couple of years ago Selmer totally discontinued brass instrument production ! This trumpet is an example how Selmer made trumpet(s) in the past and this one right here is in amazing condition like for the age ( was made in early 1970s ) and it appears to be very rarely played if played at all ? Original lacquer is in beautiful condition with hardly any wear. This is very very near mint condition collector condition instrument and I only say near mint because it was not made yesterday. It looks and plays gorgeous and my photos only show a fraction of it`s beauty ! This is a LARGE BORE MODEL 75 as it says on mouthpiece receiver. Serial is in the 52xxx range which is pretty early Selmer Radial serial range ! The only blemishes I see are the ones near the bell bead ( please see all photos ) . There are few minor scratches on the lacquer but there is no wear on the lacquer at all. It`s really a beautiful horn. Horn was play tested in both keys meaning using as well extension for Bb and it plays great. When using with Bb extension it is recommended to extend other slides as well for best tuning when trumpet is in Bb. All I can say that new owner will be enjoying this trumpet . Compression on valves is excellent and there are no repairs of anykind on this horn. Included is the trumpet with Bb key extension and original case. Case is in great shape as well with great latches and handle. No mouthpiece included.
