Great sounding head. This is a clone of a Marshall 100 watt plexi. I hand wired it using high quality parts. The transformers are classic tones which are the best on the market I think. I use them in all of my builds. The amp also includes a buffered tube metro effects loop. It links into the preamp section and is very clean sounding. I have made some mods to the design as well to heat it up a little. It has 4 EL34 tubes for the power section. The knob on the back is a resonance knob that boosts the low end of the end to get a fuller heavier sound. One of the volumes is now a master and the other a preamp. Turning the master fully up will give you the old school plexi sound. The channels are jumpered internally. The two switches on the front of the amp are a bright switch (to regain the normal channel bright channel feel of the plexi) and a gain switch to add more preamp gain to the amp. This amp will cover everything from Hendrix, AC/DC, up to the 80s sounds of bands like Whitesnake, and even much heavier. It is capable of some seriously high gain and sounds fantastic. I'm only selling because I've had to move into an apartment. 100 watt amps are frowned upon.
