For your consideration is a gently used 2014 Gibson USA Explorer 120 Electric Guitar. It comes with Gibson hard case, all paperwork, a custom finish and upgrades by a very talented Gibson authorized luthier.  Some notes on this guitar:  Only 2014 Gibson Explorer 120 with neck binding, but no "120th Anniversary" banner on 12th fret. Was this a factory mistake or an intended find for a Gibson collector? Professional Silverburst top done courtesy of one of the best Gibson authorized repair shop luthiers in the business. If only they did them like this in Nashville. Electronics fully upgraded. Seymour Duncan Black Winter Pickups, Seymour Duncan 500k YJM Speed Pots, new black 3 way selector switch. Custom Black Aluminum Pickguard, Grover locking tuners and Chrome hardware accent this beautiful axe. I purchased this guitar in July 2015, and had all work done throughout the winter/spring of 2016. I used it seldom for casual playing after work. It has never been gigged, abused or taken out of my smoke free home. Cosmetically, it is in excellent to near mint shape. There is no damage to the body or neck. There are a few small marks in the clearcoat, which is unavoidable with a nitro finished guitar. The neck is straight, all electronics are working as they should, and guitar plays without issue. If you have any questions, concerns or need additional details/photos, please contact me. * I know I'm probably going to get an inbox full of criticisms on this listing, but I am respectfully asking that the hard traditionalists/collectors or over critical musicians keep the negativity away. This is not a custom shop Gibson guitar, but it is genuine, somewhat of a rarity and all custom work was done professionally by an authorized Gibson luthier. My starting price reflects about 60% of what I have invested in it. Family is in the process of moving soon and I have to liquidate some of my collection for our new home. If I could keep what I have, I would. Life happens though. Must move forward!
