Up for auction are my Siemens ELA 75-16b compressors that have been recapped and are in good working condition. I will include a copy of some of the documentation I have which also includes a schedule for calibrating the compressors. After the recapping I believe the compressors need calibration, i.e. even if they are working I would still calibrate them. The calibration process is quite complicated but I am sure a good tech will know how to do it. They are not a matched pair and being around 50 years old they do not work in exactly the same manner. One compresses more than the other but this is again a calibration issue. These compressors work completely in balanced mode - there are 5 transformers in each compressor and the pcb's are gold plated - we are talking high quality stuff here!! The lunch box is a real rough home made job, done by me, but it works and all you need is a 24V power supply which is connected via a 4 pin Neutrik connector (positive being on pin 4 and negative on pin 1). I have seen these compressors go for thousands of dollars in the US so I believe my auction starting price to be reasonable. These are up there with the best in vintage compressors including Neve, API, PYE, etc... Please note that I will ship world wide BUT the shipping costs indicated in the auction is only for EU countries. Please contact me BEFORE you bid if you are outside the EU.
