Never unpackaged, truly brand new Focusrite Clarett 4pre interface. It's connected via thunderbolt, not crappy usb. Thunderbolt is about 23 times faster than a usb connection. That means there is literally zero and I mean ZERO latency from this interface. Why is this awesome? Because besides the age old issue of latency being gone, you can record simultaneously with your digital effects plug-ins laying over your recording, or along side your vst instruments, all syncing together perfectly. On top of that the actual mic pre amps sound fantastic, with the added ability to engage the "air" setting on board to livin up higher end recorded audio like vocals, strings, etc. They're also very quiet, keeping background fuze out of your recordings. Need more than 4 pre amps? You can link the 'Clarett OctoPre' to it via the optical connector for an additional 8 pres. Plenty more info about it can be looked up. Comes with all included softwares, plug-ins, and connector. Why am i selling it? Because i dont have a thunderbolt port on my pc, but thought I could still use it with a 'thunderbolt to usb3' adaptor, until Focusrites customer service informed me I can't. You need a thunderbolt port.
