"The Gibson", Banjolele, Banjo, Vintage, Original Canvas Board Case, Mahogany Finish.Offering The Gibson "Banjolele", mid 1920's or early 1930's banjo ukulele. 19 1/2" tall, 6 inch rim and amplifying resonator. We are including a photo from a 1930 Gibson catalog showing the UB-1 for sale as reference (catalog picture is not included in the sale), my belief is this is a mid 20's model. There is some wear on the included case but complete (including leather strap and clasp) except for hinge. This Gibson banjolele is in incredible condition and always kept in it's case in climate control. This item belonged to Paul Hunt, a square dance caller and member of the Rock Candy Mountaineers, who had moderate success in the 1940s. His name appears faintly written on the case (third image, appears upside-down).We reserve the right to choose most efficient shipping method.
