Selling all of my music gear this week. This listing is for the incredibly rare Chroma Polaris (made by Fender/Rhodes) synth.These pretty much never come up for sale. They didn't make a lot of them back in the 80s. A shame because this is one of the best sounding 80s polysynths you'll find. You get incredibly rich warm tones with a complex programming structure and a very advanced MIDI spec. This is one of the few fat analogs that sends and receives MIDI for all of it's parameters. This synth was a few steps beyond the trendy Moogs of its day. Unique and advanced...right up there with Oberheim and Sequential Circuits.This particular Polaris is special because it has a new control panel (touch buttons) and internal ribbons installed. This means that it is good to go for another few decades. Finding one that is fully function like this is really difficult.All of the sliders and controls work perfectly with no noise or artifacts. The outputs are clean and solid. MIDI works perfectly as well. All of the keys respond and feel like new. Cosmetically, it is also in really good shape. A few scuffs on the wood side panels...that's about it. I thought about painting them, but just left them as-is.I am selling it with the original instruction manual as well.All payment by PayPal only. Immediate payment required after purchase.
