The rarest of the rare, The coveted #8 pickups that Paul made for his personal guitars. There are only a few sets of these and I have never seen a actual set for sale. I have seen single pickups sell for $800 used. These babies are brand new. I can promise you that you will be the only kid on your block (and probably city) with a set of these pickups. I was fortunate enough to get PRS to sell me another set of them when they accidentally sent me a stack of blank hang tags instead of the 59/09 pickups i had ordered. They are magical. They even blow the new 58/15's right out of the water. they are the best PAF pickup that i have ever heard. I do not know why they have hand written stickers, i would guess it is because they where made in such limited numbers, (i want to say there were like 25 sets made, but don't quote me on that.) that they probably ran out of  stickers. I have had many PRS pickups that came with hand written stickers on them, I'm sure if you are looking at these you probably have as well, or atleast seen enough to know that it is not uncommon, especially for the rarer pickups. These are just going to continue to appreciate in value, whether you choose to install them in your guitar or just keep them in mint condition. I really hate to sell these but i just bought my first house and i need a garage heater like yesterday. I live in Alaska so it is pretty chilly up here. I know that seems like a lot of money for a set of pickups but when you consider how rare they are, the fact that they have never been installed, they where made by Paul for himself and close friends only and never put into any production guitars, and that they are in literally mint condition. (only ever taken out of the box to get photos of them) it is actually a steal of a deal. Whoever gets these is going to be thanking themselves in the future years while i mourn their loss ( of both potential income and how amazing they would sound in one of my guitars.) I will ship these anywhere in the world. I really hope they go to a good home of someone who truly appreciates them for what they are. Ebays recommended starting price is $1197.00 and their recommended buy it now is $2393.00
