Fender also called the later mid 90's black knob 2x12 twin reverb combo the evil twin. This one is from around 1987-91/92 as best that I was able ascertain from online sources. Fender changed the red knobs back to black on the 2x12 combo and head version after 1992, according to the Blue Book of Guitar Amps, other online Fender Amp sources claim it was 94? This amp is in good or decent condition cosmetically, the treble knob has been re-aligned which means it starts on number 4 and turns to number 6 but the oposite direction. There are many signs of wear and tear including some tears in the Tolex and various dings and dents, scuffs and scrapes and some paint loss/rust on metal bars on the top of the head. This is a very heavy amp head in fact heavier than most other amp heads I have ever lugged around. This amp has that great Fender clean sound and can get very loud as well. The reverb sounds excellent, and these Fender amps had a respectable gain/overdrive channel-- considering its a Fender from the late 80's era. This amp will be packed heavy duty with sufficient pack materials all around this amp to protect it from damage during the s&h processes. Shipping through Fed-Ex regular ground and insured for the full sale amount.
