Description Product Description This Ed Gerhard signature has a mastergrade Adirondack spruce top. It's easily one of the best cuts of spruce I've seen. The grain is almost perfectly consistent and uniform throughout. The sides and back are solid figured sapele, a visually striking wood with tonal characteristics similar to mahogany. The ebony fretboard has bloodwood binding. At 1 ¾" nut width, the string spacing leaves plenty of room for fingerpickers but won't tire out the flatpicker or strummer. Part of a 16-piece Limited Run, this is a very special dreadnought that's not going to be around for long. It's the ideal high-end acoustic that sounds incredible now and will only open up more with time.
