This is a very rare Ca. Late '30s Cromwell 6 string lap steel guitar with fine formfit hardshell case and plush interior. It is a 6 string model.Cromwell was built by Gibson in the Late 1930's so this steel was built 75-80 years ago and has a strong and tuneful Charlie Christian style pickup.The wood is solid and the top is Birdseye while the back and sides is very Flamey Maple. The Pearl logo and the rest of the guitar is almost perfect aside from lots of nicks and scratches. The case is in nice condition. All hinges and latches are in fine working order. The handle also works fine and is wrapped in electrical tape.The guitar is built from highly flamed Maple.The original Black hard shell case in excellent condition also has its handle wrapped in black electrical tape----still easy to use.Call me at 850-363-4970 if you have any specific questions.
