I bought this AKAI s5000 unit brand new from Guitar Center with the intention of learning how to use it with my band. Alas, the days went by and I put in in storage presuming I was going to use it. Well now many years have gone by so I figure it might be time to sell it to someone who could actually benefit from an akai sampler that has been turned on a grand total of THREE times since it came out of it's box. It was just taken out a climate controlled smoke free storage facility, and it is sold guaranteed to work perfectly. While I no longer have the original box or printed copy manual. I can e-mail you a pdf copy of the manual for free.  It's important to mention that you can see clearly from the pictures that the unit still has the protective plastic adhesive film covering all of the surfaces of the unit.  the screen is incredibly bright, if you look at the picture that depicts the contrast knob you can also vividly see that the knob is only turned up half way and the screen is still totally vibrant.  From what I understand a used one of these Samplers typically has a dim screen from hours of being used.  Why buy a used unit & later spend hundreds of dollars restoring someones heavily used akai s3000 s2000 or s950 when you my veritably Brand New & unused s5000 in mint condition for just a little bit more money
