New Greenbrier "Mia" F-7-AE F-Style Mandolin with Case Solid Hand Carved Spruce & Solid hand Carved Maple*Acoustic/Electric - with Built in Pickup***Made in the USA in Greenbrier Arkansas** Howdy folks. I have here for sale the next generation of "Mia" mandolins. The top is made of solid hand carved and graduated spruce. I custom fit scalloped spruce tone bars for the top. I installed a pickup while I was building it, which optimizes positioning and sound. The neck is fitted with a rosewood fretboard, polished bone nut (1 1/8th inch) and an adjustable truss rod. The neck, back and sides are carved from flamed maple. . The finish is a hand rubbed shellac with lacquer sealer and my custom staining formula. The mandolin has a goody woody tone with excellent chop.
